Tools

Self-Compassion Inventory by Kristen Neff. Use this inventory to identify your current level of self-compassion. This inventory can be an eye-opener  by creating an awareness of how compassionate or not you are with yourself.  The three steps to being able to change are: being aware of the behaviors that don’t work, then changing and practicing them. This awareness of how you are treating yourself, is the first and essential step to creating more internal peace of mind.

Self-Compassion Guided Meditations & Exercises by Kristen Neff. I was fortunate enough to attend a workshop on Mindful Self-compassion recently with Kristen Neff and Christopher Germer. Doing these exercises for myself opened my eyes to the power they can have in deepening our ability to become kinder to ourselves. They certainly did that for me. I want to share these with you because, although they appear simple, actually beginning to use them can begin to bring more self-kindness into your life.
